Frustrated any ideas??

I had my first scale victory but now I linger between 249 and 250.  No matter what I do, exercise more, eat a little more/less.  I eat about 800 to 900 calories, and work out 4x's a week for on average of about  40 minutes to an hour.  My scale is hating on me!!!   I am trying to lose the 4-9 lbs that I have left for pre op.  I meet with my surgeon on the 26th and would like to be under 249, since thats what I was at when I talked to the NUT and NP.

How much protein are you eating vs. carbs? If you're not going low carb (under 30 per day) try it to kick-start your weight loss.

Working out more is not going to help, in fact it can slow your loss (though it's healthy and will sure knock off the inches).

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

My NUT told me to add more carbs so I did, so I guess I will go back to kicking them out again and give that a whirl.  I was keeping it below 40.   Thank you!! Will give that a whirl and see how that goes

If you want to lose fast, reduce your calories to under 800 and keep your protein at about 100 g. and reduce your carbs as much as possible, under 40 or even down to 20 if you can.  What this means is mostly every meal should be a low fat, protein.

I shoot for 100 grams protein 40 grams carbs and 600-800 calories. Also one hour of physical activity too.

I have kicked up the work out (recently) to an hour to an hour and half, but in reviewing my carb intake post NUT chat, it was up in the 100's - oh ya that HAS TO GO!  So far today I am looking at about 32 carbs today.  Thank you all for your wonderful input!!!
