3 questions:

1.) Are you getting in a minimum of 64oz of water (sugar free flavored or not) each day?
2.) Are you keeping your carbs under 30g each day?
3.) Are you keeping your calories under 1200 each day?

If you don't know the answers to any one or all of these questions, you should start logging everything that passes your lips on a site like MyFitnessPal.  You'd be surprised how easily you can sabotage your best efforts without even realizing it... journaling really helps you be aware of what you're doing right and what you're doing wrong.

EDITED TO ADD: I just looked at today's date... a 1lb loss in 3 days isn't slow, I'd say that's on par with the average rate of weight loss pre-op.  Even so, the advice above should be helpful if you're not already monitoring what you're eating/drinking.

I was on a liquid diet for one week and by the time I got to my Dr. in Mexico I had only lost 2-4 lbs.  I was SHOCKED!  I actually think I didn't have enough!  I was majorly strict and did not cheat.  But, I really think my body was trying to figure out what was going on or something.  I came back and started dropping the pounds and was eating/drinking the same thing as I was on a liquid diet after my sleeve.

I'm 5' 8.5" & lost about 4 lbs. pre-op which is included in the bar above.

great advice! i have not been drinking my 64oz of water and my carbs have not been lower than 30. in my protein shakes i have been putting fresh strawberries, unsweetened mangos, celery or carrots. i guess i should be awre of cutting down those carbs. My calooric intake a day is about 1000.
Thank you, thank you so much for the advice. I actually use sparkpeople.com to log my foods and exercise.

Agree with sunshine and add to make sure you get in some physical activity. It often does wonders for a stall. Keep at it and the LBS will go.

Sunshine's advice is great. Makes sure those shakes are low-carb /low-sugar and don't add sugar to them by adding fruit.

Keep a daily calorie count
