Wanted to Share a great article "Getting Rid of Bat Wings"
Here's a link to my blog where I posted info on my arm lift today - I'm 3 weeks out post arm & thigh lift surgery. www.obesityhelp.com/member/zzroged/blog/2011/07/02/arm-lift- pics---3-weeks-post-surgery/
I exercised from before my surgery and continually whilst losing (pilates, body combat, walking, running, squash, RPM and in the gym with weights) and whilst I gained muscle and lost a lot of fat, there was no way that the excess skin would shrink back - it had just been stretched for too long and too far and really bugged me to look at as it was a constant reminder of my old fat self, plus functionally when I was running it caused issues.
Of course, not everyone has this and they are able to get their skin back with exercise - I guess it depends on each individual.

i would have some terrific guns.... if not for the excess skin....
unfortunately, despite what anyone says, you cannot "tone skin" -- skin has no muscles in it and does not respond to exercise.... elasticity of the skin is determined by genetics and age and whether or not the skin tissue has been damaged (think: stretch marks) i have great muscles with lots of skin to drape over it -- but i can pump iron for hours at a time and it will not effect how much skin i have.... i know i will need to have an arm lift eventually.....
sorry, just had to do a reality check here....
