Weight loss cycle?

Has anyone else noticed their body going in a cycle for weight loss? What I mean is it seems lately that I have a stall for 6-8 days then for about 2-3 days I drop like 6 pounds then I go another 6-8 days without loss. Is there a reason to this madness or is this something everyone goes through?

As a pre-op, that's exactly how my body worked. Didn't matter what I did, that's just how it went. Weight loss is not a strictly "calorie in - calorie out" calculation for short term periods. There's more going on, so I've just learned to deal with and accept that fact that over the long run, as long as I'm consuming less than I'm burning, I'll see weight loss.

Mine definitely goes in cycles. As soon as I hit a new low I go up 2 lbs, then it takes a week or so to hit another new low. I figure I'm averaging about 1.5 lbs/week and only 10 lbs from my real goal - 20 from my OH MY GOODNESS I'VE MADE IT goal (that based on my body composition I will likely never hit - and that's ok)I figure I'm doing ok.

It seems like i stall for 5-7 days and then lose 3 pounds.  It's been going on for 3 weeks now.  i would like to lose 10 pounds a month...but when can i say that i lost 30 pounds in a month?  I'm definitely not complaining.

Yep. Same here. Will go a few days without losing much then drop some. While the overall trend has been downward it can be frustratingly slow. Hope this helps.
