Weight loss cycle?
As a pre-op, that's exactly how my body worked. Didn't matter what I did, that's just how it went. Weight loss is not a strictly "calorie in - calorie out" calculation for short term periods. There's more going on, so I've just learned to deal with and accept that fact that over the long run, as long as I'm consuming less than I'm burning, I'll see weight loss.

Mine definitely goes in cycles. As soon as I hit a new low I go up 2 lbs, then it takes a week or so to hit another new low. I figure I'm averaging about 1.5 lbs/week and only 10 lbs from my real goal - 20 from my OH MY GOODNESS I'VE MADE IT goal (that based on my body composition I will likely never hit - and that's ok)I figure I'm doing ok.
