After you finished liquids/mushy/puree food, what was your first real meal?

Also, what is your favorite place to go out and eat post-op?

I went straight from full liquids to soft foods, so my first "food" was tuna with a little mayo and some cheese melted on top - about an oz of it.  And boy, was it good!

First real meal was at Christmas - had some oyster stuffing and some ham.

Favorite restaurants, anything seafood or Mexican (fajitas and guacamole!).

I had scrambled eggs for breakfast and cottage cheese for lunch on mine. What restaurants are near you to see if any are similar in my neighborhood? Usually I just ask if I can have something simple like a filet of grilled fish or chicken and explain I have had WLS and the ones I have gone to have always been accomidating. Later you can probably split with a friend or SO. Let me know if I can help further.

my first "real food" meal was pizza, but the cheese only. i haven't had it since, but i needed it!

i find it funnier that my last meal and my first meal out was at the same arabic restaurant. i do love it, but didn't choose it either time. my friends just knew i loved it so they chose it both times. it was delish, though, i must admit. ...also have not been back since. each meal out equals 3-4 more meals for me. almost makes going out an annoyance...almost.

I was accidently provided with a bowl of oatmeal on the day after surgery.  I went ahead and ate it, without any problem at all.  My surgeon came in as I was finishing it, and he had a fit with the hospital staff!

My first mushy meal and my first real meal was the same and is still my favorite...Wendy's Chili. I just pureed it in the mushy stage. I don't do it very often, but if we're doing fast food this is always my choice!

Wendy's is my hands down favorite since I can eat very healthy there.

First real meal was chicken parmesan at our local family italian restaurant - got four meals out of that dinner! Even had a token taste of their tiramisu (for shame - there goes the diet!)

I find that Chipotle works well for a quick meal on the go - one taco less the tortilla is just about the right size for our stomachs. Sometimes I get the standard 3 taco meal and have to left over for other lunches.
