That's great! Not so much into that music but whatever keeps you moving is awesome. I am looking into some tred and shred classes and some yoga but they all start too late and im already showering for work!

I have my hard rock and heavy metal on my ipod and literally play air drums and air guitar while working out..haha. I know I must look like a fool but it's sooo motivating to me

I run 30 mins every other day (which is about 3 miles). Then I do weight training (some arms and legs and of course stomach exercises)

Wow, you really are doing good, huh? Your loss is amazing! I was running/jogging but an old inflamed ankle joint has come to visit me again this summer. Not sure why every summer but this is the 3rd year it's back .

You should do a 5k, if you haven't. Should be easy for you.

Yes I plan on running one for the 4th of July. But my weightloss is slower than what I would like. I want 10 pds per month but looks like I'm losing about 8pds per month but I guess I have to take that! But that really weird that your ankle becomes inflammed in the summer. Maybe you should try running indoors (if you're not already)... Good luck to you!

Hey Lori! I see you have fibro, have you been diagnosed with Rhuematoid Arthritis as well? Just curious. I have fibro and RA. I find my ankles easily become inflamed during the summer months vs the cooler months. Mine become very swollen and hot to the touch. I also gain about 5 lbs in water weight during that time as well. Def makes walking/jogging a little difficult!

Hey Debby,

I have not been dx with ra BUT my foot doc was asking if it runs in my family and my aunt has it and my eight yo niece has jra.

My next doctor visit I'm going to get tested again for it. Last test was quite a few years back but I know it can show up any time as my niece first tested negative.

I am wearing a brace full time now and icing through the day. It's such a pain (literally, haha) but I keep trying to truck on!

I walk 4 miles 6 times a week. I joined a local gym, but they haven't opened yet. I'm impatiently waiting to kick my workouts into gear!

That's exactly what I was doing until it snowed here like every day during the winter. It was dangerously icy but luckily I had an old treadmill in storage that I was able to use until a gym opened right down the street from me. They were supposed to open feb 1st but it wasn't until the middle of april! It was KILLING me! haha
