If you are doing WW, are you using the points plus program at all? Walking with your pedometer? Weighing in? Journaling? Attending meetings? measuring/weighing portions?
I don't know if I have OCD a little but probably so the protein first, fruits/veggies second, then if there is room complex carbs - it's second nature to me and patternized. If you got down that simple rule and were not flexible (at least for a while) wouldn't your restriction work in your favor?
