Tired...long post
Ms. Shell... although I'm not as far out as you I feel the same way in many ways, and I can relate a lot to what you posted. Although my demons are not carbs so much as nuts and cheese and just eating because I'm bored, lonely, sad or what ever.
For topics like this I just don't think that I can do justice online so I can't wait to speak to you on the phone. I have a ton of great strategies for getting in gear with food and exercise.
Maybe you'll have some for me too for my particular areas of weakness, but even if you don't, it sure helps to just share your struggles and have others who understand, KWIM? Hugs.. and really looking forward to speaking with you.

Ms Shell - thank you so much for sharing this with us (((hugs))). I wish everyone who thinks WLS is taking the easy way out could read this - to see and understand that we still have to work, deal with the emotions and deamons!
I have confidence that you can do this! I believe you are a strong women - you just need to remember! You can do this - you are not alone - you have a whole team on the infamous losers bench, and we all have your back!

Forgive yourself. You need it. You deserve it. Focus on all the positive things in your life. Throw out all the trigger foods. When you have head hunger, chew a piece of gum and journal!! Go to a support group.

I wi**** weren't so hard, my dear friend! But you WILL win--I know how important this is to you and how fundamentally strong you are. And, yes, for many, if not most of us, it will be a lifelong struggle to find a balance that will let us enjoy life's pleasures while still fighting back the demons that brought us to obesity.
I will pray for you. And your mom is cheering you on, I know she is!!

P.S. I wish I could have seen you while you were up in SF but we're having a grand time in NY and DC. Next time, for sure. I like Elina's idea of going dancing--I'm inviting myself to come along!!
