First follow up appointment
Not entirely happy with my surgeon, or bariatric follow up with Kaiser, but I'll live.
Down 10 lbs from surgery
6 lbs until I hit the 100 lbs lost mark :) I'd like to get there before 7/1/11 to make it officially 100 lbs in a year :)
My remaining is pain is a pulled stitch and nothing serious.
My doctor acts like I had a cavity filled and told me to go back to my normal routine. I asked for modified work duty for 6 weeks, he said he'd only give me 2. So apparently he thinks in two weeks, I'll have enough energy to be on my feet running around from 8-5.
I still don't own a scale, i'm trying really hard to resist buying one. I at least want to get past the first month, if I get one at all. I have an appointment in a month - maybe I'll just try and hold out until then.
I'm still pretty tired and weak, but I can function. I stopped into work for a little bit today, and it's draining but bearable. For now, I get to just sit, so that's good.
Looking forward to the next couple weeks when hopefully I start to feel normal again.

He said "its normal" and said it's a stitch inside. It sure doesn't feel normal, but he said to call if it doesnt get better soon. Not sure what "soon" is, but i'm ready to call :-p
It was actually better today, there are just certain things that make it worse, so I just really have to take it super easy.

Sweetie -- I had Kaiser, so I can understand the frustration -- any chance your Primary Doc could give you a note for your employer??? It is worth a shot.
I bought a scale on Amazon - had to be able to weigh 440 - proud to say I can now weigh on a regular scale (342 today), and cannot wait to High Five YOU when you are at the same place!
Take things SLOWLY, I ended up with a seroma -- unsure if it was me being to "active" too soon, but you don't want to have fluid build up in the belly cavity... Talk to your employer, they probably will be understanding of your situation -- ask for modified duty.
