Shower?

Hi Lovely Sleevers and Sleevers To-Be :-),
I have a random question... how soon after the surgery can you shower? I am weird about cleanliness and don't like going a whole day without showering. Thoughts/opinions/recommendations are welcomed!

P.S. Start my liquid diet on Tuesday. I can't believe I am about to say this but I feel like all my meals up to then are like "Last Suppers"!

48 Hours, and I feel the same way you do about cleanliness. But trust me you won't feel up to doing it any sooner than that, at least I didn't. Best Wishes.

*laughing* Darn it, I actually meant to ask this question today, but I'm guessing 48 hours based on the paperwork he gave me today. I can NOT go to bed without a shower, every night and take one if I have a big work out too. It's going to suck, I get all itchy without a shower.

I was able to take one the next day. It felt good to shower. If you have to wait 48 hours to shower you may be able to do a sponge bath or get the bath wipes from the nurses and you can clean up a little bit.

P.S. Bring your own shower toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). The hospital ones suck.

Thank you for your help! I am hoping Dr. Ganta will let me shower 24 hours after surgery (fingers are crossed for us sleeve girl) :-)
