3 month appointment today

I had my 3 month post-op today.   I lost 13 lbs since my 2 month.  I was thinking I had only lost 8 or 9 lbs.  I couldn't believe it.  His numbers were slightly different then mine and he stated that I had lost 41 lbs since surgery.  I thought I was at 39 lbs.  Overall, when your doctor confirms your weight loss and praises your success, it becomes real.  What is it about the doctor saying it that makes it real even though you are living it every moment of every day?

That's awesome!  Congrats!!!  Are you doing your measurements too?  At that stage, I was dropping sizes like crazy! 

Great job!  41 pounds in 3 months is awesome!  I hope mine's that good when I go in July!

I think its the validation :)  Its ..ok this might sound wierd but ya know how you can make a salad and it just doesnt taste as good as if someone else makes its?  Its all the same stuff nothing changed CEPT someone esle did it.  I think its like that.  Its nice to have someone else pat you on the back besides yourself.  Gratz hon way to go keep up the good work *pats viola on the back*
