Protein drinks (ranting, you can just ignore me...)

My sister is having the same problem right now. So she is drinking Gatorade Recover...it has 16 grams of protein per 20 oz bottle, 130 calories, 14 g carbs. Better than not getting anything at all is what her doc is telling her...

Thanks... yeah, someone above recommended protein h2o by muscle milk, so I'm going to try them both. It's really annoying. :-)

Sleeve girl-

Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone.  My cousin has just as many allergies as you.  Soy, nuts, apples, cherries, peaches, blueberries, etc...  Don't loose heart and stay strong.

Thanks... it's weird and annoying. Oh, luckily I can have berries (no cherries though!). It sucks, but it is what it is... glad I'm no the only allergy crazed person you know. In my case, it'll get better... :)

Yeah, I can in some breads and other prepared foods, but I worry about the drinks because I've had a reaction in the past to a drink mix that had soy letchin. I'm going to keep trying :)

please let me know what you think of the Jay Robb.  i use the unflavored and i love it.  i mix it with everything.  my flavored water, sugar free pudding, cottage cheese, hot chocolate.  u name it u could add it to it.  it has no taste (at least to me) and is very fine and mixes well with just about anything.  just be careful when you add it to hot things.  they can't be to hot or it will like curdle.  drinkably hot but not burning hot.  i love the product and i hope it works for you.

Thanks, I ordered samples last night and someone told me that our local grocery store might sell them (I haven't been to the grocery store in years - hubby handles the shopping for the most part). I'll check it out :)
