Back to Losing

The last few weeks I have been slowly going back to my old ways - eating way to many carbs.  The sad thing is that I knew what I was doing and new how easy it was to fall back into sitting on the couch with a bag of potato chips.  Grant it I didn't gain anything but I wasn't losing either - and that was a bad thing.  So for the last four days I got my head out of my butt and got back into the right frame of mind and it worked.  As of today I lost another 2 lbs and am 3 lbs away from goal (this is my second goal my first was 160 now I am shooting for 150).  It is scary how easy it is to go back into those old ways.

I still love my sleeve, and I actually feel more tightness in my stomach since I stopped with the carbs and started eating more dense protein.

Isn't it amazing how quickly our Sleeve will respond to good habits?  Congrats on being back on track for weight loss!

T,

Great job! Dense protein made it possible for me to reach my goal and easily maintain.

I've been at goal for almost a year now and continue to limit carbs. Carbs have a way of creeping back if  you're not careful.

Best of luck,
George

Hey, thanks for posting this. I just had this revelation this week as well. Was stuck at 173 for the longest time. Went back to drinking protein shakes, cut out the carbs and low and behold, I'm at 169 this morning.
