My procedure with Dr Yatco went off without a hitch. Leak test was nasty but results favorable. Worst of it so far was drinking the potassium supplement b/c my bloods showed low levels. Didn't make me toss but it was way uncomfortable. All in all, so far so good.

Now more than before, I'm feelin' the mad Yatco love. He is fantactic and so is his staff and the people at Lennox Hill Hosp. Anyone considering this procedure in the NYC area (or within commuting distance) should definetely include Dr Yatco in their due diligence.

Glad to hear you're doing well - as an "older" guy, myself, I don't always identify w/ the kids on this forum, but they tolerate me like an old gramps, I guess. Anyway - my experice was a bit uncomfortable post-op, but nothing too severe. Try to get as much hydration as you can - but don't worry too much if you seem to be falling short - the numbers they give you are "goals," do the best you can for you. Again, congrats on your surgery - welcome to the loser's bench - stay in touch with us on OH.
