These links are to three famous vsg food diet/timelines.    almost all surgoens agree on the main points indicated in all three of them.  I found them very helpful,  all the food info i got and all the paperwork i got said rny crossed out with sleeve handwritten in so i didn't feel comfortable with the conflicting info i was getting.   You should read them and then will feel better able to decide what to eat.  Good luck   you'll do great  :o) jeani

The proper answer used to be..... follow your doc/nut plan.....

But with the recent influx of newer surgeons and the VSG being a non-standardized procedure.(yup, you guessed it.... not all sleeves are the same!)

There are many Janky surgeons out there now with some wonky eating plans.

The only thing I will add..... I can tell you with absolute certainty....I would never have got to goal eating the plan that was presented to you.

That plan sucks and has a low percentage of being successful.....not sayin impossible cause were all different and react different to foods. A few people on this board can eat that way.....key word "few"

You wouldn't be able to fit all those carbs in anyway.  By the time you get your protein in you'll be too full!!  Heck, most of us struggle to even get veggies in.  And the further out you get and you feel you need more food...then add in veggies...not carbs.  I still have to limit carbs because I'm just too full trying to get in all my protein and I'm almost 2 1/2 years out!  I do have those things occasionally, but I've been at goal for a long time now.  Good luck to you.
