I usually just cut it in half lengthwise and scoop out all the yucky stuff. I then put it in the oven for about 40 minutes or so and bake it. Once it has cooked I take it out, let it cool for a few minutes and then scoop the insides out!
Good luck

once cooked you can toss it with parm or feta cheese

I cut it in half scoop out the seeds and place it in a baking dish with about an inch of water (to help steam it) cut side down at 375 until it's soft but not mushy. You can sprinkle it with salt pepper and garlic too. Yum yum!!

This is super yummy, I use prepared pasta sauce, and add brown ground beef or turkey. None of the olives.

I cut it in half, a bit of water in the bottom and bake them. Then about 20min before they are done, I take them out remove the water and put prepared pasta sauce in :)

We slice it in half, scoop out the nasties, place it in a dish face down in a little bit of water and cover with saran wrap into the microwave.  Micro it for 8 minutes.  Done!  Scrape it out with a fork and you're set.

We put pasta sauce with it, cauliflower/broccoli, parmasan cheese... its delish!

Also try zucchini "noodles". Just use your peeler to make the noodles, Keep peeling till the zucchini is gone and you still have fingers. LOL. You will have a big pile. Toss them quickly with a bit of olive oil and garlic in a pan. Great with tomato meat sauce! You would never miss the pasta! You could sub this for almost any noodle dish.
