My surgery is scheduled June 7

However, I have ot fly to Chicago on the 17th for my daughters graduation. Do you think I will be okay, if I take it easy? Or should I reschedule my surgery for after the graduation? I will be off work the entire 10 days after the surgery.....

My Dr said no traveling until the 6 week check up ...Might want to ask your Dr.

Agreed - talk to your doc. My doc didn't want me to travel (via car) for 5 or 6 weeks. I actually waited until I was on real food to make the trip. It made eating on the road easier!

Lots of people travel after surgery! Think of the gang that goes to Mexico for surgery or to another state! Ask your doc, but I'd say you'll probably feel ok.
