I finally have a date!

I've been going through Kaiser and their process since early September of last year. I did their 3 month program, lost the weight, and now I have a date :)

I have a whole host of feelings, mostly excited at this point. I am struggling with the fact that my husband (we've been separated for 3 years so I use the H word lightly) won't even bother coming to be with me (though I'm still trying to figure out why I'd even want him here lol).

My mom will be coming from out of town to help, and while I appreciate her support, we usually don't last very long when we spend long periods of time together. In my little one bedroom apartment - i'm sure I'll be ready to kick her out. Maybe I should slip her my pain meds and knock her out :)


To top it all of - i'm having surgery on my birthday, so I'll be singing happy birthday to myself.

Congrats on your date! And congrats on your weight loss so far! You're gonna do great! I go in for surgery in 2wks! Super excited!

Congratulations on your date! I'm Kaiser Mid-Atlantic and have done their 6 month program. I hope to get a surgery date myself on Friday.
You may find that life gets a whole lot better and your thinking clearer once you have lost the weight...good luck!!

Congrats! You are almost there. I am having my surgery through Kaiser Harbor City on June 17th so we will be pretty close. Happy Bday and a new life on that day!!
