I am so happy I could cry, Milestone!
Not hiding anymore is one of the greatest nsv's there it girlie, so good for you! I will always regret skipping my high school reunion because I was too embarrassed to face everyone..
I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!
"People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within." - Ramona L. Anderson
Sassy,
I just had to comment on your post...I haven't went back to any of my High School Reunions because of this same thing. When I have visited my hometown, I was careful to only visit family and stay away from the local restaurants, etc. Next year (can't make it this year) I'm going back It will have been 36 years (OMG) since I graduated HS and when I go back I think I'll look pretty good for an old chick! I'm only 14 lbs from my goal weight!
Love your story...it's given me the courage to face my own fears!
Hugs, Cathy

I wish everyone who is on the fence about wls could read your post! FANTASTIC!
I got tears in my eyes when I read, "my loss of control over food was proof by my appearance and everyone could see it." This is so true. I could have never said it so plainly, but it is just how I felt.
You are one of my faves on here, Sassy.
