protein shakes
i'm super picky with protein shakes, but i love the EAS carb control protein shakes. 17 grams of protein. they have chocolate fudge and vanilla. i really like the vanilla. i have one every morning or breakfast. i get them at HEB, Sams, Krogers, or GNC, but its more expensive at GNC. hope this helps..... :)
I tried the EAS chocolate and wasn't a fan.
The best tasting one I had so far was GNC AMP. They come in pouches. 2 scoops in 8 oz of milk is 48g protein. Ive had the chocolate and the cookies and cream and both delish. They also blend / disolve easily. Cost is 28 per bag. This week it is buy one get one 1/2 off. I also bought their GNC card that gives me a percentage off. Costs 15/yr but it gave me % off from each item. First bag was 23 and the second was 11 --- I believe. Around there anyway.
I have Six Star and that I make with 8 oz milk, 1 TBS Hershey's cocoa, 1/4 frozen banana chopped. Blend and sip. It FILLS me up better than the GNC. It doesn't disolve as well and therefore the blender is needed. this is 34 g protein.
I am one week out and still new on the trying things. GNC AMP and EAS I had tasted through a support meeting. Six Star was the brand I first tried and it worked for me.
Good Luck!

Everyone's taste is different but I just tried Jillian Michaels and it was pretty good. Also the About Time is good. I would suggest buying the sample packs because I tried many that I hated and would have wasted more money if I bought the big tub. Chike sells a sample variety pack and also Nectar and the About Time, if you check online you can order them so you dont waste too much money :)
I just saw that Chike is having a special where you can order the sample pack for FREE! Just pay shipping. About $7. I just ordered mine. I've tried the nectar shakes mixed with water. It was, eh, OK I guess. Anyone have any suggestions on how to mix them to taste better? Anyone try adding some sugar free Torani syrups? Fruit? Just looking for options. Protein shakes are not my favorite things.
