Surgery went well yesterday and the last time I heard from her she was "thirsty and drowsy".  The sugery took a little longer than usual since she had previously had a band.

Like all his other patients, she loves Dr. Alvarez and his staff.

Hopefully she will be posting for herself soon!

Thanks for posting millersdaughter!  Thirsty and drowsy I'm sure sounds familiar to many of you! Today, woo hooo -- ice chips. I do have a little acid. Hopefully I can get something soon. Waiting on leak test!

Indeed Dr. A and staff are fabulous.  No Q goes unanswered.  Surgery took a little longer than most "new" sleeves because of scar tissue/adhesions from lap band removed. But it was five years ago, (removed) so not probematic.

I did just vomit a little. Hope I didn't bust a staple. It wasn't too crazy.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Stay tuned!
