chest pain 1 wk post op-normal?

I havent had any pain really to speak of since my surgery a week ago. I am on my way to work now but I am having pretty persistent mild chest pain right where I think my heart should be and it just started today. Anyone else experience this?

Are you taking a PPI such as Nexium? Could be heartburn....

it could also be gas. try walking in place move it

more than likely gas pain HOWEVER don't let it go....if it persists go to a dr....good luck.

I have had the same thing. Im pretty sure it is gas but if it keeps up you should check with your doctor. Mine isn't terrible but it is noticeable.
