Frustration

I am just frustrated that I cannot get in enough liquids/water. I get about 32oz a day and found that is a major reason as to why I am not losing weight like I should.  I stay constipated.  I am 22 days post op. Before surgery I weighed 316lbs, gained 12 because of the IVs and now I am down to 296lbs.  I know that I could lose more if I could just get more fluids in, but I get tired of drinking jus****er.  I can't drink Crystal Light or Vitamin Water Zero without getting nauseous.  It's the same with the 50/50 juice/water mix. I get an almost overwhelming urge to vomit. The only other thing I can drink is decaf black tea and there are only so many ways to flavor it and not get off track.  I am almost at my wits-end and the worst is the chronic dry mouth.  I just wanna scream so posting this is my alternative. Just venting.

Suggestions - milk, dilute the heck out of the crystal light or whatever your drink of choice is, more protein shakes, SF popsicles, Hint (water lightly infused with natural flavorings like watermelon, cucumber, etc), lemonade (or lemon in your water), decaf coffee.  Can't stress enough how important it is go up your fluid intake, not just for weight loss, but for your health!

You're pretty early out so I'd say 32 ozs is good for this point. I drank (and still do****d tea like crazy. Couldn't drink plain water for several months so I had to find something. Try to find something you like and go with it for as long as you can.
