I've just discovered the "art" of making rag rugs and I am sooooooo gonna make a gigantic one from my fat clothes!!!  Anyone else do this?  I don't have a lot of clothes (because I hate shopping at my current size) but as I downsize.... I believe I'll be able to outfit the entire house in rugs!!  Wish me luck! LOL

You will have to tell us how to do that!

That's such a cool idea. You'll have to post pics when you're done!

That's an awesome idea! I had thought about making a quilt with some of the clothes but I didn't think I wanted to see them 'pretty'. I like the idea of "walking all over" my fat clothes! And....the bonus, it will keep your hands busy instead of snacking. Please show some pics when you've got one started!

That's my thoughts exactly!!  Walking allllll over them like they deserve! :)  This is what I think of you..... thing of the past, thing of ugliness and thing of pain...... take that! hahahaha

I'm still waiting on approval from the insurance company..... we'll see when I actually get this party started and the rug will be sure to follow!!  I'm hoping I'll feel up to working on it the first month post op.  One can only hope!!

You'll do great.  I hope your approval goes quickly.  I took my knitting to the hospital and finished some items, so hopefully you'll be up to rag rugging just as quickly!

You should do a u-tube video with instructions so the rest of us can get into this hobby.  It makes walking after surgery all the more meaningful!  LOL

Best wishes in this journey!
