I've got 11 more pounds to go!
Only 11 more pounds to go to get to my goal (well, my doctor's) goal. My goal started at 150 - the "normal" BMI for my height 5'7". Well, I've never been normal, so I don't plan on being normal now! But I will take a good look at my body when I get to 180 and ask myself if I could be healthier. And if the answer is yes, then I'll work on getting closer to the "normal" goal. But right now, I'm happy with getting to 180. I started at 286 and this morning I weighed 191 - my lowest since my surgery, 16 months ago. I've been a "slow" loser, but that's fine with me. I am happy just being a loser!! I exercise about 4 or 5 times a week. I do step one night, I run, walk and I do free weights every night for the flappy arms. I've done 3 5Ks and I didn't come in last and I've improved every time! Lately, my eating is very good. I am concious about my eating and I don't always follow the rules to the tee, but I realize that when I am bad with my eating, the scale will punish me. Sometimes it's worth it, most of the time it is not.
These last 11 pounds are my priority right now. They are going DOWN!!!
