Husband for free. please take him!
WoW ruins marriages. Just kidding.. Kinda. I know that's not all that's going on here.
My husband and I talk about this at length. I was looking into it before we started our relationship (we were best friends prior to dating/marrying), but things just fell to the wayside.
I think that I was an abnormality in his life because almost all of his previous relationships were with petite, small women. He just loves me anyway. He loves me as much now as he will then and I feel the same.
I think men get insecure and need to be reminded that we aren't just going to up and leave when we feel all sexy again. LOL. Being a dick is not really a great solution to that, but it's kind of a defense mechanism. If you up and leave he can act like it was his choice and harden himself against whatever it is he's feeling. It's unfortunate that he is just digging himself a hole and handing you a shovel.
ETA: Post WLS is a time when you re-evaluate everything in your life. You take a step back and sometimes we realize that the relationships that we are in are unhealthy, just like we once were and they were really just a security blanket. I have been on this forum a looooong time.. Going through periods of lurking and posting and in that time I've seen dozens of marriages fall apart. Sometimes it's for the best and sometimes it's worth working past. Only you can decide this. You can't deal with his negativity every day and he must be confronted for it.
