This is all very interesting.  Most of the comments I've been reading the last few days have been about not feeling hungry at all, and now some of you are talking about head hunger the first few days. Lots of things to consider.  And thanks for the great suggestions that will help all of us newbies.

By the way, what is a PPI?

I'm going to guess it's pepcid or one of those antacid drugs. I found out that reflux is quite common with the sleeve, and it happens quickly. I just tried soup tonight and I have that acid feeling.....sure hope it doesn't last all night.

I'm still having problems getting my fluids in. The sipping is taking some getting use to. I think for me it makes me less interested in drinking. I try to have at least one-half cup of a clear liquid every hour, except when i have some broth. Broth to me is like the best meal in the world.

Tonight, I also made a vow to stop watching food shows until I've conquered my demons with food. It will be hard, but my motto is go hard or go home.

PPI= proton pump inhibitor  They stop the acid in your stomach from being produced.  You need to get up and get moving around.  I went back to work after 1 week and it was so much easier to be on liquids because I didn't have time to sit around thinking about it.  Go walk outside.  Start going through clothes and see what  you want to get rid of first.  Start a project that uses your mind and your hands.  But not an expensive one because you will soon need smaller clothes!  The first week SUCKS mentally but it gets better fast.  Soon this will be a distant memory.  You can do it.  We all lived through it and so will you.
I am not big boned!  Bones don't jiggle!
