Hello to all my fellow VSG'ers. Just had to finally pop in to let everyone know IT CAN HAPPEN!!! It DOES happen!!! It DID happen for me!!! On March 31, 2011 I celebrated my 3 year surgiversary! Where did the time go??? It has flown by. Why?? Because I have been having the time of my life. I initially lost half my body weight, 134 lbs. I went from size 24-26 to size 4-6. And guess what??? I'm still here after 3 years. My weight has only flucuated by about 5 lbs, up and down. I do eat regularly. I just can't eat as much. I can eat more than I could in the first year or so, but still limited amounts. I am sooo very active. I've started a part time job in a high end boutique.. I NEVER would have been able to do that before. As unfair as it is, I never would have been hired. The list goes on and on. I am so happy, my marriage is fabulous, LIFE is GREAT. If you are just beginning this journey, or thinking about it, Take it from me...it is life changing!! Just DO IT!!!

Awww Brenda. Thanks so much. I wish I had a huge secret, but truthfully, I just don't and can't eat so much. I still pay attention to what goes into my mouth, but eat some different foods now than I did for the first 2 years. I wish you continued success!!!

Thank you so much!! I am not sensitive to much of anything except certain mexican foods or something rich or greasy, which is a good thing! I do limit myself on carbs for the most part, although I do eat at least some now, where for about 2 years I wouldn't touch a carb!! Look like you are doing pretty fantastic yourself. Keep up the great work!!!
