preadmission testing
I'm working with Dr. Bessler in NYC; here's what I have had so far:
Psych eval, Drs. letter, blood tests
Upper GI
Abdominal Ultrisound (for gallstones check)
Echocardiogram
Sleep Study
Pulminary Function test
Every time I think I'm getting close, there's another hoop. I have some speculation that part of the reason they make it so complicated is to make sure people aren't rushing in, and that they are really serious about it (because no-one would go through this much aggrivation unless they were really serious).
I have been on a modified fast (shakes + 1 meal, no sugar, no fat, low carb) since the beginning of March, and may not get surgery until May or June.... Aack.
