Great post, and congratulations on your success. I'm still in the reasearching stage, deciding on a surgeon. From my research though, I've concluded that your surgeon, Dr. Paul Cirangle is one of the very best in the world. Wise choice!

Congratulations!!!! I must say that I agree with everything that you said. To be successful, exercise and following the rules are mandatory. That is what made you successful and just about everyone else *****aches goal. It is wonderful to be able to say that one is a normal BMI and has lost 100% of his/her excess weight. I don't get the cookies, ice cream, and other junk during the losing phase. Why??

I love being more energetic, healthier, no longer having pre-diabetes, no more sleep apnea,no joint issues, and fitting into size 2P clothes. WLS has been a wonderful gift and I intend to take care of it. Off to exercise!!!

Thank you for a wonderful post!!!!

Congratulations, you have done an amazing job.   I am kicking up the exercise as i have been kinda lax in that throughout this whole experience.   I have 16lbs to go and hopefully this will help.   Like you i am off all meds,  only pills i take now are supplements.   Thanks for sharing your story, you should be very proud of yourself  :o) Jeani

Wonderful post!

And I am so with you on the "I can eat cookies, candy, etc" posts.  A friend of mine is only a month out from RNY and within a few hours I saw her eating cookies and french fries.  Why do that to yourself???  I told my husband to pry that stuff from me if I start doing that so early out!  Another awesome support person has assured me that she will be very vocal about it if she catches me not making healthy decisions.
