If you have over 200 lbs to lose, I'm looking for you!

I right there with ya Angel! I've lost over a hundred, but still have another hundred to go. sometimes it does feel overwhelming, but other times, I tell myself..hey, Im half way there! I think one of the hardest parts is seeing posts on here of people that lose 100lbs and they are now tiny with cute tiny clothes and rocking new bods! I lost 100lbs and pretty much look the same except for not as puffed up anymore. I know I shouldn't compare myself to others, but its so hard not to. I have to lose another 100lbs to get where others here are starting out at! yikes. oh well...it's all still better than staying the way I was 7 months ago, right!
It is good to have others to talk to that we can relate to. thanks for posting!

Your response is exactly why I posted this. It's so easy to get bogged down with the seemingly small impact your weight loss has on your overall appearance vs. that of someone starting out with a lot less to lose. I'm glad you feel me. We'll make it through!

I wish you well. I do not have that much to lose but I am sure you are going to do great. I have a question for you. How did you get that scripture from the bible on your card.? I have been trying to get my favorite on on my card. GOD BLESS!

Thanks for your encouragement. I just had to keep playing around with my card to get the cut and paste to fit. That's it. I just cut and pasted it.

I started at 437 and it is VERY overwhelming at times. i would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get to my goal of 170 but I think being 5'11 with a bigger frame Id look ok at 200.  Im really hoping and praying and willing to work hard to get this weight off....all of it =) Congrats on your weight loss so far!!!!

I'm not tall at all, but I'd be happy with 200, too. My surgeon wants me under 200, so how about 199 lol! I'm just going to enjoy the process!

JIMBO!!!!! You ARE my inspiration. I reached out to you when I first had surgery and you told me this was possible. I was nervous then, but you were right. I'm encouraged to finish this fight because of you and other amazing people on this site. When I want to quit, I think of you!

Are you on Twitter or Facebook or anything? I'd love to share your story.

Hello I read but seldom write. But I was sleeved in December 2010. My high weight was 440 I weighed 404lbs when I was sleeved. I am now down to 325lbs. I never in a million years thought imagined how good I could feel. Now I just take it day by day. I am up in weight on week and then the next week some amazing lbs just go away. So strange. Really my goal was just to get the weight it says on my drivers license. Hell I have not told the truth to the department of motor vehicles in over 20 years. I am almost there. When i reach that goal them maybe I will set another. But I am just thankful all ready. The things I can now do are rewarding enough to keep me going and trying to imagine what else i might be able to do I was looking at bikes the other day. Bikes! At 440 that was the last thought in my head. I am in it for the long haul for life to exact. But onederland is really not my goal. I am happy with every pound that goes away. It is such an amazing tool.. I sounds like you are doing quite well keep up the good work!

I understand where you're coming from. I've been walking a lot. That is one thing I've always avoided because of issues with my feet and my back...and my whole body! Now, it's not so hard. I love going places and doing fun things...not always having to find the cart in the store. I have to tell myself I don't need it. It's so weird, but it is amazing. I'd love to lose all the weight I need to, but you're right. If I never lose another pound, I'm so grateful for how far I've come.
