Anyone ever been denied for BMI being TOO high?

Was the second the DS?  I haven't checked into the DS because I was certain the sleeve was the way I wanted to go, but from what I understand, the sleeve is the first part of the DS.  Then after that is done, in a second surgery they go in and re-route some stuff making it a DS procedure.  Interesting.

my BMI was 67 prior to surgery. I was approved the same day I applied. I thought it was because they took one look at my statistics and said..whoa! she needs this surgery!
