I want a Tattoo for my weight loss need ideas please
I'm gonna get a tatoo also, i've often thought of getting one but never have yet..... I'm thinking something , not sure, its a work in progress. I've been a chicken. Don't usually go in for causing myself pain.... but...... when i get to gaol i am gonna do it. I'll show you mine if you show me yours :o) jeani
Ok.......just a hint....I have 5 tattoos. One of the more painful spots to have a tattoo is on the top of the foot. Research carefully and please make sure the tattoo artist is good.......because trust me there are tattoo artists that aren't that good. You pay the price for a good tattooist and you won't regret it. Look for pic's in magazines, clip art, tattoo sites etc. whatever you pick it has to be something you absolutely love. Some pic's you like may not look good as a tattoo and if the tattooist is a good one will tell you that. I saw a care bear cartoon on a teenager.........what will she look like in her 40's?
I just had the 5th tattoo completed a couple of days ago. For me all my tattoos have meaning.....the one on my breast......butterfly with part of the body is the pink ribbon for cancer.
The one that is larger on my leg is a tribute to all soldiers that have gone to war for us. The one on my shoulder is a tribute to love and the last one in the making is one for peace and one earth. Make sure YOU love it.
My first tattoo was 35 yrs ago and I'm 55 now. Only one did I change. When I had my surgery I was classed as a light weight (29 bmi). I am now a 21 bmi since Dec. and all my tattoos are the same size as they always were......Good luck and take time to figure out the design, if you rush you could regret it. Just my thoughts..........eli

sooooo true! thank you!
we are heavily tattooed too. by that i don't mean piece-work, but full pieces.

i love, love, love my foot tattoos, but man oh mighty, you're right- that freakin hurt!!
finding the right artist is the most important- and you do get what you pay for. even if it's a small design, better to have it done right the first time than "fixed" later. and it doesn't do much good to draw something up really, because most artists will draw their own stuff anyway, and it has to go on transfer paper so they can line it out on your body first.
Ok this may not work for you but I've joked with my husband and patients that when I get thin I'm going to get a tatoo of a phoenix rising out of the fat blobs.
I don't know quite what that would look like yet, but I'm going to pull some images from google and use my imagination to make something cool.

A plate of pasta..... Only way you can have it without the carbs !!!!
