Quinoa

I'm going to try your recipe. I always have some on hand because I use it in a mash I make for my parrot, which is super healthy, yet not something I can eat ... but I can buy extra quinoa and have it once in a while myself! Thanks for the great sounding recipe!

Hugs!

That is so funny because I just made it last night for the first time and was going to post about it!

I made mine just like rice and then added roasted asparagus and some crumbled goat cheese and I even served it to my company and everyone loved it!

Yours sounds very good I am going to try it next!

love the stuff. i put it in soup and such. a little goes a long way. another unusal grain is amaranth. i think even higher protein. but quinoa tastes better. quinoa and oatmeal are the only carb things i have that are not fruit or vegetable. nix on rice or pasta. diane

I'm glad you liked it!

I made some with shredded chicken, Feta, peppers and onions and some spices and it was sooooo good!!!

Yum...that sounds good too.  I cannot wait though to get some fresh veggies and saute it all up, like you did.

I'm eating my mixture as I type, for lunch, with some leftover grilled chicken.  It's good!

I think this is a great food addition!

I use it as a substitute for both rice and couscous. It is yummy in stuffed cabbage and stuffed peppers (with ground beef, prok or lamb)!
