Greek yogurt question - can I heat something with greek yogurt in it?
So I have individual servings of a crockpot chicken recipe I made, and this weekend I discovered that it's great with greek yogurt, using it as a sour cream substitute. I heat the chicken thing in the micro then put a dollop of greek yogurn on and mix it in. But I'd like to mix it in first, take to work, then heat it in the micro. Will the greek yogurt degrade or separate or get gloppy or gross if I heat it up? I can put a little spot of greek yogurt in a separate container if I need to, and take it to work that way if I need to.
I did 3 days ago and didnt die...lol....so I think its okay.

Sure! I can't remember where it came from, certainly wasn't original with me:
large pkg chicken thighs, the one with about 9 pcs in it. (I trim some of the fat off)
One can of Campbells Reduced Fat Cream of Chicken or Cream of Mushroom soup
A cup of Pace Salsa, I use medium-hot but use whatever heat level you like
A can of black beans, drained and rinsed
A pkg of taco seasoning mix (I used McCormick's, only half the pkg)
Put chicken in crockpot, mix remaining ingredients together and pour over, cook on high for about 5 hours or on low for 8 hours or so. The chicken will release a lot of water, so if you want to thicken the sauce, leave the lid off for the last hour or so. Stir to shred chicken. For me, this makes at least ten servings. Even better with a little greek yogurt or sour cream mixed in, as I discovered this weekend! :-)
Enjoy!

This recipe is perfect for me and sounds yummy. I cant just slice a piece of meat and eat it, it always has to be hidden either in a casserole, chili or in a piece of bread or tortilla. I gross out other wise so thanks for sharing this.
I'm guessing the thighs are boneless and skinless, if not thats what I'll use.
