 I tend to tip based on service unless we have a much bigger bill. Anyway, I find the kid's meals in most restaurants to be pretty crap and not WLS friendly. You don't find a lot of grilled things or things that aren't fried. I usually just order an appetizer. Or I ask them to bring a box when they bring my meal if I order a full one, so I can box it up for leftovers. Even if I don't eat it, my husband can take it to work.

VSG on 05/04/09 with

Dr. Alvarez gives us those, but I figure - when I go out to eat, (which is rare) I tend to get whateverthehellIwant.

Which means, its not everyday food, which means.. It has no place in my home! So, if its not anything I can get a half order of, then I just get the full order.

My husband and I have way different tastes in food - I am not going to alter my very rare dinner without having to cook it or clean it up just so it can be convenienty 5 or 10 bucks less.  Hell, my not drinking saves us more than that!  :}

I get, though that a lot of other folks tend to be out eaters more than I am, or even eat out a lot with work travel, although I guess if that were me, I would just get the regular fare of whatever my eating plan was, and nosh leftovers for as many days as it lasted.

OMG I love it!  That is priceless!

Got one for lactose intolerance?  That lasts a few weeks, too! (plz excuse the rumblings and various noises coming from my patient's table.)

I've never had need for the card, but had heard about them here in this forum, and just thought to share the link with THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE THEM.

Peace and love. Amen.
