Dr. Aceves

A few weeks ago I posted about my surgeon here in the US postponing my surgery two days before. WELL- He has since decided to "retire" and I am back at the beginning. I have done tons and tons of research and I am leaning toward Dr. Aceves. I'd like opinions, suggestions, any info good or bad you may have for me. Thank you!

Dr. Aceves is a great surgeon!!! You won't find anything but good reviews on him. I wanted to use him, but had a change in plans. Good luck..

There are 3 of us booked with Dr. Aceves next week coming from all over the country. I am traveling from Canada. So far they have been awesome!!! I'm booked for Dec. 6th!

Everyone I know that has used Dr Aceves, and there are several, have been nothing but happy with their experience from beggining to end. He is a great surgeon, his staff is wonderful and they are always ready to answer any questions you may have both, pre-op and post-op. I had my surgery with Dr Aceves on November 12th 2010. Good luck with your decision!

I had a completely wonderful experience going to Dr. Aceves, I just posted to someone else that it was the best thing I ever did for myself. My insurance would have paid for RnY or lapband here in the US, and I am STILL happy I went with the sleeve in Mexico with Dr. Aceves!!

I too am considering Aceves for VSG and have read all the terrific comments. What clinically makes him so superior to other surgeons offering the same procedure? Love to hear from some of the veteran VSG'rs to chime in. I appreciate this board and the support/information it delivers!
