I got a couple of bags since its a long way from where I live to the nearest TJ and i stock up on stuff when near, but can't eat these if they are like chewing nerf balls! any ideas? D

I bought those trader joe's meatballs sometime post-op but never have gotten around to eating them. I'll be curious to hear what works for you Diane.
I've been eyeing those Aidell's meatballs at costco but the packages are so darn big for a single person. It really is incredible how little we eat in a day.

Hi -- I am still preop so I don't exactly know how I will tolerate tomatos post op with all the acid but the way I make the turkey meatballs (feeding a decent sized family) is to put them in the crockpot on low for around 8 hours with a pkg of white musrooms and a jar of low sugar marinara. They come out VERY moist that way. I serve them over pasta for my family but over the julienned veggies for me (also from traders joes) ii cook those by sauteing in a tsp of e.v. olive oil and a little chicken broth.
Hope that helps! Amy
