I'd check their website and get a feel for the calories in one of those.  I have a feeling a fair amount of sugar goes into them.

I had one of the McDonalds fruit slurpee things about 5 days out.  A small (12 oz) has a little over 200 calories.  Now mind you, it took me a little over three hours to drink it, but since I was driving for 5 hours on the toll road, it was great.

Do they have sugar free Slurpees? Otherwise, I think it wouldn't fit in your plan since you have Dr. Cirangle. I would guess 1 regular Slurpee has more than your daily allotment of carbs.

I would not do it personally.  Slurpees have carbination and I imagine it could be pretty uncomfortable.  I had a sugar free slurpee on July 11 three months after surgery and could not drink it.  Fortunately it was free in celebration of 7-11.

Crap. I forgot all about sugar and carbs for a minute. I had no idea those things were caronated either. :(

You will get used to this new way of eating/drinking.  I swear I have always sucked at math but I can calculate the calories in damn near anything now.  It becomes a game of how many calories is any one item worth compared to the payoff of losing more weight.  Most of the time I make the right choice but if I don't it is a concious choice.  Hang in there it gets oh so much better.

I'm thinking probably not a good idea,  but i feel you tho.  Oh well,  you can have a popsicle,  those are good too.  You can do it,  new life, new rules.  Good luck and congratulations on your recent surgery.   I hope you are feeling good and welcome to the loser's bench,  jeani

We have the same date and same weight going to surgery :) .......how are you doing? Me, my only concern right now is "healing" the wounds......don't care about losing weight for now. whatever my new stomach will take and make me feel good is what i'm doing. I found a couple of things that didn't agree with my stomach.....1) crytal light pink lemonade 2) isopure green apple flavor..... the crystal light lemonade is the worst! took a sip and the darn thing felt like crazy! it was like a war for atleast 20 mins. inside my stomach!

Like i said my goal for now is to heal good and feel good at the same time......if drinking slurpy will have no problem for your new stomach.....i'll say try or go for it! :) When we reach the period that our wounds are healed......then i'll start the more decepline stage, besides, i don't think we can ever eat a whole box of pizza or a bucket of chicken anymore.......so no matter what we wil lose the weight.
