Refried Beans -- Aren't they a low-carb diet NIGHTMARE??
I agree, in the beginning until you get to real food, the focus should be on getting your protein and liquid in how ever you can.
My nut allows 100 g carbs a day, and I have done great with that. I may not have lost quite as quickly as some others, but I feel my life is balanced and I don't feel deprived. I think extremism in any form causes me big problems so I avoid it at all costs. But each person is different and you have to find what works best for you!
