Picking a Surgeon in MEXICO

I had mine with Dr. Joya and have had several of my friends go down to have surgery with him.  All have had positive experiences.  You can watch my journey on youtube.  Good luck.

Dr. Aceves in Mexicali is excellent!  Great clean hospital and the staff are WONDERFUL!  I was skeptical at first but visited the clinic, spoke to the doctors and patients and I was sold!!!!  Very professional!

I also had Dr. Aceves and was extremely impressed with him, his entire staff, and the hospital. it is a small, private hospital in Mexicali and so beautiful!  modern, clean, and extremely good service.

I never had a chance to try it but my friend that went with me said the food in the restaurant there (too nice to call it a cafeteria!) was very good.

I can tell you the broth I got to drink post-op (after passing all the leak tests) was EXCELLENT - clearly homemade! and spoiled me for coming home and drinking the canned broth I'd stocked up on!

I am having VSG with Dr Joya on March 26th. I can let you know how it went.
I will pay 10K total. I paid $1600 (1000 deposit and 600 for husbands ticket). I will pay 9000 more the day of the surgery.
I have heard nothing but good things about Dr Joya. Gerald (coordinator) is very good and helpful and he will answer all of you questions and explain everything.......
