maintenance with Dr. C

The last time we did the cottage cheese test a lot of people two years out reported they could eat no more cottage cheese than they could at 6 - 12 months out.

So our little unscientific study supports Dr. C's observations as well.

I'm 18 months out and can only eat about 2, sometimes 3 oz. of dense protein. But part of that is that I leave room for veggies. I'd rather eat 2 oz. of chicken and 1/4 c. of veggies than 3 oz. of chicken and no veggies.

I can already eat about 3-4 oz. with a few bites of veggies.  I usually chose to only eat 2-3 oz and more veggies.  I hope this doesn't mean that it will be harder for me to maintain than for the three of you.

Good information. Thank you, it does help. I'm 24 pounds from goal and will certainly print out and refer to the points you make.
