popcorn
i had the vertical gastricectomy 2 years ago. has anybody had any trouble with eating popcorn?

i had a couple bits of yellow,reg and of the carmel. first time i tried it a year ago it plugged me up! and couldnt poop for a week. till i took a laxative. this time caused me to have pain like esphagael attack i thought i was having a heart attack it was that excarating i went to the er to get checked out and thought i was gonna pass out. they gave me 2 nauseu meds and pain shot.. im still feeling out of sorts. and still nauseous
Do you still have your gallbladder? Popcorn, butter and stuff they soak it in cause me HORRIFIC pain and would trigger a gallbladder attack and this was pre VSG. If you don't have your gallbladder then it just sounds like something in popcorn and your sleeve don't mix. However, if you have your gallbladder - popcorn might be triggering a gallbladder attack. Lettuce, popcorn, spicy foods, red sauce were some of my triggers. Anyway - just a thought. Hope you feel better
