Anything you can't eat? Carbs, sugar
Bready things sit in my stomach like a lump ... which is probably just as well, since I'm mildly allergic to wheat, ha! Nevertheless, I have the odd bit of bread, cake, etc., if it is really worth it. And it has gotten better as time has gone by. Also potatoes are hard to eat more than a couple of bites of; again, it is not the best choice anyway. And chicken has to be very moist to sit well. But pretty much anything is fine in small quantities. To paraphrase a Bible verse, everything is doable, but not everything is a wise choice! --Dorothy

I'm over a year out and I can eat pretty much anything at this point. I am a bit lactose intolerant. I can drink milk, but not much. About as much as you need to put in cereal.

There isn't any particular food that I can not eat. I eat carbs, pasta and rice without consequence, I've had a few miniature candies a few times with zero ill effects. I steer clear of breads only because it fills me up too fast, and I don't have room for anything else. I'm 6 months out from my revision. As far as my tastebuds, they have returned to their normal state, with the exception of yellow mustard. I can't stand it now, and it was my favorite condiment before surgery.
