Two and one-half years post op!
Hey pretty lady! It's always good to hear from you and about you. You were such a support and inspiration when I began my journey and I am happy that we are still in touch over 2 years later.
I am thrilled to hear that your maintenance continues to be a breeze and that your life is much improved. I was a slow loser, too, and I think it's important for us to let it be known that it happens and the outcome is the same as if you lose quickly. I actually think it was a blessing for me as I really got those good habits ingrained...apparently someone knew I needed the extra practice =D.
Have you started the plastics process; that is, have you decided what you might like to have done and/or gone to any consults? That is truly the cherry on the sundae - at least for me it made me feel finished. My TT was my at goal reward to myself and was money well spent. Every time I pull on a pair of jeans and they easily button I am thankful.
Congrats & have a great weekend.
Please tell Andrew I said 'hi'~

At or below goal since 5/08....without mal-absorption!
Hi Kathryn! Thanks for the note. We don't all lose at the same rate. While I was a bit envious that some folks got all the weight off in 8 months -- my body wasn't ready to release it that quickly. Just hand in there and trust the process. If you follow the food rules and do the exercise, it WILL happen. Best of luck to you!
