I'm glad I didn't order anything from that place. If you charged your credit card call the company and tell them you want to make a complaint. You don't want them to pay this company until it has been taken care of.  Dispute the charge.  It may hold things up for a while and this will put the person on notice that you aren't going to be "bullied" Good Luck, Sandy

Wow!  I was just forwarded this link by a friend...who said I just had to read it.  She said I would not believe it!   I had a similar problem on multiple occasions...same type of responses.  To make a long story short - I ended up starting my own e-store selling the same types of products.  She has blasted me on the main board...tried to get me banned everything else - and I never mentioned names.  This same person even went as far as to post as my husband and I under a "no picture" character.  I complained to both Skylar Haley and OH. If these types of things aren't made known to the public she will continue to "use" us for her money.  The powers that be also need to know. I have copied and printed this entire link to date and will be forwarding it on to SEVERAL different people that may or may not choose to do anything with it. I am truly very sorry you had to deal with the stuff she deals out.  I am sure you are an awesome person.  Just keep your head up and know that we are all out here cheering you on!  Keep posting your experiences - you never know who's life you might touch! So I'm a couple of months late.... I was only just directed here. 

I can be added to the list of peopel who will never order from there... based on this incident and just by reading the board adn the HOlier than Thou attitude they have over there.  They may be "successes" but they are not the only ones out there.  Neither do any of them have DOCTOR or SURGEON in their titles. 

oh apparently there is LPN which is what... a degree obtained in a years time to assist an RN?  I think that if someone purports themself to be a nurse, thent hey should be held to the standards of nursing... otherwise, she's just a clerk at a shop who is in no position to give advise. 

I agree, dispute the charge and there is always the Better Business Bureau.  Start flooding them with complaints. WOOO!!!! 

Even though we did not see the original email, the original poster explained that she asked about refund/exhcnage as the foil was broken and Saint SM got up on her ass saying it was not, she did it herself, and she is a mierbal human being. 

Just on the basisi of that alone, I would not do any business wiht a company who is going to blame me for a busted product. 

Someone once dubbed them STepford Bariatrics and I SOOO agree.  IF you don't fall into "their way" you are a failure and a miserable WLS patient.  WHATEV.  I know where the deals are :D

I read several of the post in this thread and then got really tired.  Are all the emails from both sides posted?  Typically there are three sides of the story and of the post I read I only got one side.

I ordered from BE several years ago, and stopped due to their sketchy deliveries and unsatisfactory customer service. I decided to try again bc they have new and tempting prodicts. I am now on day 4 waiting fkr my order that was supposed to have 3 day shipping. Apparently 3 day depends on when you order, what the carrier guarantees, and if the moon is waxing or waning. Okay, not the last one, but still. BE cusyomer service did respond to my inquiry, but with an unacceptable use of semantics to justify the fact that my "3 day shipping" will actually be 6 or 7. I won't be ordering from Bariatric Eating again. Nor will I recommend it to my friends. 

People seem to be missing Susan-whoever's main point (the one she should have just shut up and stuck to in the first place), which is that the foil is designed to be broken automatically when the cap is twisted enough to break the seal.  It's SUPPOSED to happen that way.  So a little piece falls in... so what?  Fi**** out and proceed.


HOWEVER.... that said, based on her responses regarding the initial complaint, I will never, ever order from this company again.  The LPN's little dig cemented that for me--there are soooooo many other places to get high-quality products (at better prices), who needs them?  Not me.  I'm sure as hell not going to hand my hard-earned money over to a company that lets people like that represent it.

Just curious, did this ever make it out onto the main boards for everyone else to see?
