Hotel rooms with recliners?
Does anyone know of any hotels that you have seen recliners? When I go to Michigan for my surgery I will have to stay for at least a few days in a hotel. I'm assuming from what I've read that a recliner is very useful during the first stage after surgery. I'm wanting to investigate where I may find a room with a recliner. I'm thinking a recliner would be better than a full kitchen. Any suggestions? Any suggestions on the best way to find out?

I was also loooking for a hotel with recliner and was unable to find one. We stayed at the hilton in Auburn hills. The suite had a couch , chair and footstool. The first night at hotel i (WIFE and KIDS)just propped myself up with all the pillows and used the foot stool. Slept very well. Following night the surgery soft beds felt great. I was amazed at the comfort of bed and they wee high enough to swing your legs out just stand up.

Take care
God Bless

I work at a condominium resort and there is this timeshare owner that comes every year who ABSOLUTELY cannot live without his recliner for the one week per year visit. He calls up Rent-a-Center and has this big lovely recliner delivered to his condo. Great idea huh???
Hope this helps.

Meesa, I stayed at the Extended Stay Hotel on 2100 Featherstone Road in Auburn Hills (243-335-5200), they have rooms with recliners & small kitchens. I paid $82.12 (that is all taxes included). The hotel was nice, close to some things. my husband & I went to the Henry Ford museum (I got wheeled around & got me out of the hotel room). My husband went next door to the Hilton to eat some times or there was restaurants around & a Walmart not far away, for those forgotten things. Well I hope this info has helped. Good luck in your search. Debbie
