Here is the real truth about WLS. Yes, you are gonna hear it first and hard core from someone that had the surgery 2.5 years ago. Get ready, sit down...hold onto something real tight cause this is gonna blow your mind.

You get to be the actor, director, producer of your own life. Your thoughts are what make you ...nothing else.

Geez girl...what did you think I was gonna say....don't do it...its all a joke. You will gain it all back plus some.

All I know that my obesity has and had taught me is that I am responsiible for me. What I put into my mouth, what I wear, how much money I make. No one has any power over me unless I give it to them.

Sure I have heard all the stories....and there is always more to come. But this is how I do it. I get up in the morning....I say thank you God....I go pee pee...brush my teeth, eat breakfast, go to work, pay my bills...saying something nice to someone.....pee again...brush my teeth and to to bed.

I put one foot in front of the other and the other follows. No one has power over my life but God and me.....

So, my dear friend....know that you are perfect for today and thats all we have anyways....today....

I have in the past been apart of doing secret pals and I have been looking into doing it again, but it doesn't seem to be running so I am looking to see if maybe I could restart it myself! I first would like to see if there is any members in joining in and becoming secret pals. Also I would like to know if I need to be a OH leader to do it so if any OH leaders is reading this can you please notify me with the answer to that question please and thanks. I loved how well it went for me and know the things I received I still use today and hopefully the things I sent my pal she is enjoying

I originally was set up with Dr. Ortiz, impressed by the hype. But I read a couple of mediocre reports on his surgical facility, and changed my mind. Meanwhile EVERYTHING I read about Dr. Aceves was glowing. I had to sacrifice my $500 deposit. But it was all OK, because I just had my gastric sleeve surgery July 9th with Dr. Aceves, and the experience was excellent.   He is an experienced, and super careful surgeon;  3 separate leak tests were done to make sure the sleeve was tight. Also, Dr. Aceves, along with his colleague Dr. Campos(who himself had the sleeve surgery!) practice in a real, fully-equipped hospital. It is a very clean, private facility, with the state of the art equipment. Also the environment was so quiet & restful, not like most noisy, stressful hospitals in the States. I was able to really recover quickly. Often thought I was in a hotel! The nursing staff was so attentive, responding to my calls very quickly. They guide you through the whole process smoothly and professionally.  I say, hands down, Dr. Aceves is your man!

Thanks for the information. My husband who is paying for my surgery refuses to let me go to Mexico. I will be having it in the States.
