Losing weight... finally

Well, I have finally got back on the weight loss plan. I officially lost 9# last month. I am working towards 197#. Which would make me officially ONLY Obese. Not Super Obese, not Morbidly Obese, not Severely Obese... Just Obese... Woo Hoo -- Hoping to get there by 8/2/05. After that I am heading for #169 (Overweight). Now both of these goal markers will be AMAZING for me! After those... I am heading for Plastic Surgery. I am planning a lower body lift first. Later... Hey Sharon, I must say that you are amazing to me...only a few pounds away from your first goal!!! That is just wonderful and you continue to inspire me with your progress I just made it to severly obese once I hit the century mark and one day I hope to make it to my goal of 175#. HELL-O SHARON, I LOVE HEARING FROM YOU. WELL I AM SO HAPPY YOU ARE ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS AGAIN. I LOVE YOUR SUPPORT. YOU HAVE HELP ME TO KEEP LOSSING WEIGHT. I LOSS 2 POUNDS LAST WEEK. Congratulations. I knew you could do it. Just listen to yourself for you have been an inspiration to all of us when we were in need advice. I am still below goal but your advice has been so great in keeping me there. I didn't have as much to lose I went from 257 to 129 but I have been very dillengent in trying to eat correctly. My problems occur when I go to functions and there are so many wonderful things to eat even though healthy. Not to eat too much at one time. At home no problem. I have one special plate and bowl I eat out of that holds the right amount. Have been doing weight lifting but since I am 59 alas I think I might need a body lift for my arms and legs. Look great in clothes and have tightened up a lot but still think I will need that body lift. Hang in there, so proud of you. Dianne

Thanks for your support Sara, Gloria and Dianne! I appreciate it. Gloria... to lose the 9 pounds that month I basically exercised 5-6 days per week and ate a controlled diet. I tracked everything that I ate on Fitday.com which helped keep me on track. I will begin again tracking and regular exercise again on Monday. I am now trying to lose 39-55# by January 11 which will put me somewhere between 154-170#. Then I am going to check in with a plastic surgeon. I am hoping that 6 months is enough time for me to get the job done. Talk to you all soon! Best Regards Sharon 209#
