Being in Canada has its downfalls lol, my surgeon didnt provide me with any type of diet guideline, recipes or anything. I have been eating babyfood because when i puree the food it doesnt stay down for some reason. When i drink water i feel like i have a huge rock in my throat!! And i can't tolerate any crushed vitamines ect. Ugghhhh,,, Can anyone help me?? I need to know if there might be a site or something on the net with some recipes i could follow. I am two weeks post op and soups or fruit smoothies are getting kinda old. Im tired of from eating the wrong things too soon.. Will someone please be an and help me out??

Hi Cari.... I am affiliated with another support group as well as this one. It was designed for dr abawi patients. They have a lot of great information. It is a yahoo group. They have recently posted meal and menu plans for post op's. I will try to forward some to you. I have my surgery in three weeks. I hope things start looking better for you. Many of my concerns are what i will and will not be able to consume. I will get back to you asap. Mel
